Have you tried making body butter and could not get the right consistency? Did your body butter come out smelling less than what you intended? Was there no whip to your whipped body butter?
I have a few tips that might help you along.....
- RESEARCH the type of butter and oils you are using and their textures (some butters have a brick like texture that requires a lot more oil to butter ratio than others, some oils break down butters a lot easier than others)
- Use a ratio of 2 butter to 1 part oil for a good ,creamy whipped butter
- Freeze your butter after combining oils until majority of it is no longer a liquid, runny like consistency
- Whip, whip, whip it up! If you think you have blended it for too long, you likely haven't. With time, you will begin to recognise the visual difference in your butters after they have reached a whipped consistency. Until then, make sure to whip it for a decent amount of time.

🍃Self care is essential to your mental health and well being. It is an important step in managing daily stress and also for preventing burn out. In self care, you focus on growing and replenishing your spirit through rest and reflection.
It is important in this world that we live in today especially amid the times to ensure that you are taking care of you and nourishing your mind body and soul! If you haven’t already done so, I encourage you to choose at least one day a week to do a self care routine and watch your spirits be lifted.

It’s and I have just a few reminders!!!
1. Remember to , often times we go throughout our day with our lungs filled forgetting to exhale. We stay stuck on the past or future but rarely enjoy the present. Remember to breathe and do it deeply, sigh and let the vibrations take away your worries as your breath exits your vessel.
2. Remember that you are not stuck, your perception is your reality and that is the only thing holding you. Instead of gripping with all of your might, try releasing for a change.
3. Love on yourself. You need it but more importantly, you deserve it. Why? You wake up everyday and get out of bed, you go to work for something that may be mentally taxing and maybe it doesn’t align with your passions, you balance paying bills, being tired, being social and trying to take care of yourself (and that’s at the bare minimum). You are allowed to rest and despite what this fast world tells you, you need to.
Take a moment today to be still if even for a minute. Focus on what your body is telling you it needs and give it that. It’s been carrying your stress, trauma, tiredness and literal weight around for your entire life, you both deserve it.
