Acrylic sculpture is different from your everyday nail tips... Some of you may know what this contraption is and when I saw it I got super excited! Hand sculpted nails are stronger and more elegant than your everyday experience at the nail salon around Phoenix. I'm not saying they don't have a place and they are more affordable, they come in cute colors etc. Etc. They get the job done but a lot of times there are gaps that lead to mold and at the very least dirt when not applied perfectly. Just based on this photo alone I would encourage you to reach out to Nails by Yulie on Facebook. Her phone number is listed in one of her photos and for privacy reasons I will not include this but you can find it. Please stay tuned for August 4th when I get my first ever set of sculptured nails since nail school back in 2013. 💅😁

Placing a form and cutting.
Learn the right way and not the wrong way.
Give her some air to breathe but cutting along the side to match her free edge.
Perfect example of how your form needs to be place and cut.
The wrong way when you cut in too much. This will cause the acrylic to fall in and make a dip. We want the acrylic laid nice and flat.
So be careful how you cut. 😊

Help me pick my next nails. ⚠️They will not be this long. I'm in love with this studio as they promote the coolest nail art and almost everybody that goes in gets it done so it's fun to sit around and talk with everybody!
