Nail Tip Tuesday: We know you know this, but in order to keep the pigments engaged in our colored gels, including white, you have to stir it up! The best practice is to stir your colors weekly, using a clean orangewood stick and make sure you get all the way to the bottom. This is going to come in handy for the winner of our "name this color" contest!

Nail Tip Tuesday: When applying Base Gel, squeeze just a small amount on the nail, then brush through, similar to nail polish. It should look grainy. Too much gel will cause the nails to become brittle and turn yellow. Who's got time for that?

Nail Tip Tuesday: Using Colored Gels
Colored gel tends to shrink, so when applying the colored gel, first apply the base gel and cure, then a layer of finishing gel, and cure for 1 minute. Then apply the colored gel, in a thin coat, similar to polish, to one nail at a time and cure to set, switching between hands until all 10 nails are "polished" and set. Then apply a second layer of colored gel, in the same manner, curing for 1 minute. Finish with our Finishing Gel.
