I created The Perfume Cabinet to celebrate the unforgettable scents of the 70s and 80s — when fragrance told a story and every bottle held a memory.

Lately it's been cool in Arizona!

Giggle Water it is! If you are still blessed to have this 70's beauty, or able to find it in its natural state, you have a gem.

It's a yummy orange blossom, not too sweet honey amber, fruity (not synthetic) white musky, fresh scent.

Compliments galore!!! 🥰

I loved this fragrance by Debbie Gibson, growing up. My teenage years were filled with great fragrances, and this one brings back such memories of 80's nostalgia ❤️

Electric Youth is a fragrance launched by Revlon in 1989, associated with singer Debbie Gibson. It is a Floral Fruity Gourmand scent for women, designed to capture the essence of a youthful, dynamic spirit, with a combination of fruit, flower, and sweet notes balanced by woods and amber.

About the fragrance

Notes: A blend of fruits, flowers, sweets, woods, and amber

Association: Created alongside the release of Debbie Gibson's second album, Electric Youth

What is a Perfume Batch Code?
Why you need it when buying Vintage fragrances.

A perfume batch code is a short series of numbers and/or letters printed on the packaging or bottle of a fragrance that identifies a specific production run.

Here’s what it means and why it matters:

🔢 What It Identifies

The batch code tells when and where the perfume was made.

It’s used by manufacturers to track quality, ingredients, and shelf life.

It can indicate details like:

Production date (month or year)

Factory or plant location

Formula version if changes were made over time

🧴 Where to Find It

Usually printed or engraved on:

The bottom of the bottle

The back or underside of the box

It’s typically a 3–7 character code (e.g., 38N801, A4201, or 1H01).

🧭 Why It’s Useful

Authenticity: You can verify if a perfume is genuine by matching the batch code on the bottle and box—they should be identical.

Freshness check: Websites like CheckFresh or CheckCosmetic let you enter the code to find the production date.

Quality tracking: Retailers and collectors use it to identify older formulations or limited batches.

*Below: Look for the lime green rectangle. That's the batch code.

Speaking of Nostalgia!

We could not leave out Avon. We're not talking the new stuff. Remember we're traveling back in time. I can still smell my skin-so-soft, close my eyes and smell my Sunday School Teachers, Teachers at school, my Mom and Sisters, Aunts, and family friends.

*Scent memory offers healing and strength.

*Think about that special hug from a loved one. They were probably wearing Avon.

❤️ Now Smile ❤️

What does the Magie Noire perfume smell like?

Its heart is an irresistible potion combining Myrrh and Incense with the goddess-like sensuality of Ylang Ylang and the opulence of Jasmine. Its heady and unsettling base note is like velvet to the skin, combining warm notes of amber the sophisticated softness of patchouli ❤️
