Allow me to reintroduce myself!

Hi, I’m Katie Gomes! A single 29 year old and also a licensed professional who specializes in men’s cutting and razor work. I’ve been cutting hair since I was 16 years old, assisting at shops until i could get on the floor!

What started as a passion has turned into a career I genuinely love, and honestly, I couldn’t see myself doing anything else.

I celebrated two years of owning and operating West View Barber Shop this September, and it’s been one heck of a ride!

With 250+ five-star reviews, I take a lot of pride in my work and the relationships I’ve built along the way.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll probably find me at a concert, out doing karaoke, relaxing with my three spoiled cats, or singing my heart out to the shower or in the car…. And yes, sometimes that includes singing behind the chair, too, so feel free to sing along!

My family is also a huge part of my life, and spending time with the people I love means everything to me.

My clients mean the world to me. Some of the people who first sat in my chair have turned into some of the best and most loyal friends I’ve ever had. I’m so grateful for the connections I’ve made through this industry.

To me, it’s always been about more than haircuts. It’s about the people, the laughs, the tears, the conversations, and the community.

Thanksgiving is only 6 weeks away! If you want to get your haircut scheduled before the holiday, now is a good time to book!

I’ve extended my hours for Thanksgiving week to fit in as many people as possible! Obviously, you can still come get a haircut before then, but I know I’m going to book up fast.

Book your appointment now and we can always reschedule if something comes up. It’s better to have a spot saved than to wait until the last minute!
