From Kenny-“Howard is doing great today. The physicians are very pleased with his progress. The plan is to remove his arterial line from his wrist and central line from his neck. If a bed becomes available, they will be moving him out of the ICU with a goal of moving him to Zale Lipshy on Monday to start rehab to build his strength. This has just been an incredible journey.” 01/23/2026

Kenny has created a facebook page for people to learn updates on him. The page is called Friends & Family Supporting Howard. Most recently Kenny says:“Howard was looking so much better yesterday after dialysis. It is amazing when toxins are filtered out of the blood how much butter a person looks and feels. He was more alert and talkative than he has been in weeks. Physical therapy and occupational therapy will be working with him today. He is still on the continuous, CRRT (dialysis) and the doctors stated that they are pleased with how he is responding to the dialysis and the results they are seeing. They are continuing to evaluate him for liver transplant possibilities. Please continue to pray for him. God is still working miracles. 🙏🏻🙏🏻” 01/13/2026

Howard has been diagnosed with Budd Chirari syndrome. He has a clot in his inferior vena cava and left portal vein. This is causing back up and pressure on his liver which creates elevated lliver enzymes and excessive billirubin. He is being treated but his condition is dire. He is currently at Texas Health, Presbyterian Plano in Room 881. He has had many visitors and it has brightened his day. 01/06/2026
