After a great deal of reflection, we are closing our e-commerce marketplace. We have run out of our inventory and the time is right... I know many of you were wondering “What happened to Shona?” Thank you for being so patient with me!
When I first came up with the idea to harness ancient Indian wisdom and CBD science, I was the recipient of several puzzled looks. During the middle of a pandemic, Maharindee came to life! Thanks to my wonderful manufacturer and the countless iterations of The Change Maker and The Believer, we created something that so many of YOU truly loved. Even today, I still get texts like “I NEED MY CHANGEMAKER, STAT!”
The response was also overwhelming once we got the Change Maker into the hands of editors from People Magazine, Pop Sugar, Allure, and more. EVERYONE had that . (Huge thanks to Sara and Lisa).

Just last month I went to India on an epic family trip. It was there I fondly remembered my time as a teacher working at Mary Roy’s school (in Kerala). In those years, I saw firsthand the importance of focusing on the education of girls. Therefore, I’m even more delighted to have created a brand that contributed years of schooling to Room to Read’s program.

The reality is, that it is still challenging to market CBD. Without the necessary funds to overcome those difficulties, it is almost impossible to move forward. In addition, the current economic environment is extremely challenging for startups. Because of these realities, I have decided that closing is the most pragmatic, equitable, and emotionally sound path forward. My profound thanks to my advisors who helped me come to this decision. I value their wisdom. Thanks to my small and mighty team (including Katie & Rox) for keeping things moving. I loved working with all of you and deeply value your belief in our mission.

Last but not least, I am grateful to my wonderful customers. Thank you, thank you, for cheering for me and supporting me. Happy holidays to you and your family.
