However it is strong, drying and irritating, and is nearly aways too harsh for sensitive or dry skin.
And as I don't want you to keep missing out on all the awesome benefits that retinol gives, I wanted to present our favourite retinol products.

What is the difference between AHA and BHA? 🫧
AHA and BHA are both acids that can be used in skincare products. They both work to improve the appearance of skin by exfoliating it. However, they work in different ways. AHA works to break down the glue that holds dead skin cells together, while BHA goes deeper into the pores to remove dirt and oil.

Salicylic Acid is one of my favorite ingredients for helping to clear and control blackheads / clogged pores & fight against breakouts.
It quite literally attacks the clogged pore and breaks down what is inside.
The reason products containing Salicylic Acid at the right % can give a deep clean is because it can pe*****te deep into the pore lining & it is therefore able to exfoliate inside the pore as well as the surface of the skin, helping to clear congested skin.
Salicylic Acid is not only great for fighting existing breakouts, but it helps prevent future ones from occurring as well. 🫶🏻🫧🤍

let’s talk dermaplane! 🫶🏻

Dermaplaning is essentially shaving the face with a fine blade in order to remove peach fuzz & 3-4 weeks worth of dead skin. By removing the dead skin and hair, your skin is left feeling as smooth as ever and your makeup will look flawless!

How often should I get dermaplanning?
I would suggest every 3 weeks. The hair doesn’t necessarily grow back thicker or darker but you will definitely notice it more when it comes back! You’ll love how soft your skin feels right after the treatment you’ll want to keep up with it!

What’s the difference between professional dermaplane and the eyebrow razor from TJ Maxx?
The main difference is the blade. Our blades are very fine. Meaning that they can pick up the dead skin and even sometimes blackheads, whereas with an eyebrow razor it’s a much thicker blade that won’t be able to get anything but thicker hair.
From personal experience I definitely notice a difference between the two!
