Curbise pickup recycling programs aren't always as they seem. ♻️ Many items labeled as "recyclable" may still end up in landfills due to contamination and other factors. Instead of relying only on curbside pickup, consider alternatives for cardboard:

- Composting: Break down cardboard into smaller pieces to aid decomposition. 🌱

- Local programs: Donate to shelters, schools, or community gardens for creative reuse. 🎨

- Upcycling: Get crafty! Turn cardboard boxes into furniture, toys, or home decor. ✨

How can you reduce waste by reusing cardboard packaging?

1. Make drawer organizers - Our small boxes are perfect for pushpins, buttons, and other small items. You can also unfold and flatten them to make organizers for medium sized boxes.

2. Compost - You can compost most cardboard, ours included. Some tips include: Shred or rip the cardboard; Disperse the cardboard; Moisten the cardboard; Use the cardboard as your base layer

3. Take to a trusted recycling center - Sometimes your local municipal recycling isn't all that good. But trusted recycling centers that actually sell it as raw material can have a measurable impact on the need for trees as a natural resource.

4. Crafts! - Explore and exercise your creative side. This is good for all sorts of packaging, not just our boxes. We would love to see what you've created. Post it to our page or in the comments!!

5. Give away to neighbors or family who will be moving soon - Our small boxes aren't so great for this, but environmentalism isn't just for HumanSense products. Its for everyone and everything!!
