Mel (she/her) is a busy doctor who doesn't have a lot of time in the morning. She wanted a q***r cut that's low maintenance and doesn't make her look old. Texture can make a haircut a lot more fun, but too much can give off a pixie vibe — way more feminine than what she was going for. Bettie opted to keep the sides and back short and tapered, with a classically masculine form, but took the top shorter and added lots of texture and movement for a cool, q***r, masc-leaning look.
