Not sure how to get the most out of your hair extensions?

Here’s my top three summertime haircare tips for all you extension girlies.

1. LEAVE IN CONDITIONER ~ Summertime equals pools, beaches, and lots of swimming. To avoid this also equalling damage to your hair extensions apply a leave-in conditioner to the mid-shaft and ends of their hair before going swimming. This will prevent the absorption of unnecessary chemicals.

2. AVOID AT ALL COST ~ sunscreen with Avebenzone (Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane) +Octocrylene as they can cause your extensions to fade and sometimes turn ORANGE. Once this happens it’s very hard to reverse and typically results in having to purchase new hair. 😢 Remember if using this sunscreens to wash your hands before touching your hair!

3. KEEP IT TAME ~ Keep your hair extension tied into a loose braid or loose pony when swimming or riding with the top down to avoid matting and tangles⁠. One of the biggest ways to avoid damage to your extensions and hair is to keep it properly brushed and tangle free. I love to throw on a ball cap to keep it from freely blowing in the wind.

Hudson went to the dentist for the first time (no cavities)

Aaron went on a missions trip + Landon decided it was time for a big boy bed.

Detoxed our bodies from mold + from social media

Had (almost) all of my nephews spend the night at one time.

And so so sooo much more.

January was crazy but we learned, loved and grew. I’m so thankful for my family + my support system. Here’s to 2025!

I’m thankful for friends who have my back and are there for me whenever I need them to be.

I’m so thankful for family time and memories made.
