Spotlight on Authors

Radcliff Elementary School first grader Joshua Skaggs was the grand prize winner of the coloring contest sponsored by Radcliff Small Business Alliance members, Beautifully Bare Laser Hair Removal and Leo’s Donuts and Coffee Café in conjunction with Spotlight on Authors community event.
Joshua whose entry was titled “Fly Man”, was conceived, drawn, and colored during his art class in school. “His interesting sketch, and use of colors, coupled with some very neat coloring skills, made Joshua’s work stand out,” said co-sponsor Wendy Barto.
For his efforts he received a gift card to Blazer’s Fun Zone. RSBA member Papa George Willis was so impressed with Joshua’s accomplishments that he invited Joshua and six guests to have lunch on him at Papa George’s Original Chicago Food Cart.
It was obvious Joshua was very proud and pleased with his winnings as were his grandmother and brother Jack who accompanied him.

Age 7 ...1st Grade...We'll present the $20 gift certificate from RSBA member Blazers Fun Zone this week at a ceremony at Beautifully Bare Laser Hair Removal in Radcliff.
