Hello Friends! This is after 15 hours of work (separate appointments). She started electrolysis on 3/22/22 and these were taken on 3/26/23. This beautiful gal used to tweezers daily and would feel stubble eight hours later. These days her hair grows in softer and slower after about five or more days. The hyperpigmentation on her skin has improved tremendously. This is Progress.

Hey, sometimes you do what you gotta do right???
My lamp was not staying in my desired position so it was impossible to work. The screws were loose and some were missing...oy vey....so what did Mami Juicy Roots do??? I got creative to make it through my day. The lemon helped weigh it down so it would stay stationary. Hey, you make lemonade outta lemons!!! 😅

Hello beloved Juicy Rooters,
I hope this finds you and yours healthy and well during these uncertain times of the Covid-19 pandemic. Please know that I miss you all and look forward to working on you again so you can reach your goal of becoming hair-free, smooth, silky. At this time, I am not sure when that will be as I am following local and federal guidlines for our safety. You may be wondering what to do with your pesky hair right now??? Whatever you do, refrain from tweezing, waxing or threading your hair. These methods stimulate growth in the long run by sending blood flow to these areas. If you need to remove it, melt it with a depilatory cream, bleach it, shave it, or clip it. These methods are superficial and don't touch the root. Stay safe, be calm, and take care.

With an effort to keep everyone safe and flatten the curve of Covid-19 spread, The CDC and Governor Newsom has said to cancel all non-essential appointments such as manicures, facials pedicures etc. (Electrolysis falls in this category ufff) if you are not able to keep a six feet distance. Although I use the latest methods in sanitation and sterilization recommended by the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, I must abide for our safety. I apologize from the bottom of my heart and hope that you will continue electrolysis with me once this health crisis is over. I will honor your packages of course if they expire within my closing period. Our health is number one! Until then, be safe and take care of one another.

Hello Beloved Juicy Clients,
Your health, safety and well-being are taken seriously at Juicy Roots Electolysis and Skincare. With the recent threat of Coronavirus, you may be wondering what precautions we are taking to keep your health protected and our environment safe. Well, I am happy to report that I have always used the latest methods in sanitation and sterilization supported by the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology Rules and Regulations. Rest assured that we make your health a top priority. The following is a list of practices I do with every service to protect you from skin diseases and other ailments:
☀️Washing my hands before and after each client
☀️Wiping down my equipment with a germicidal disposable cloth
☀️Wearing a mask during all appointments
☀️ Only using sterile disposable probes
☀️Disposing used probes in my Sharpe's container
☀️ Your skin is always sanitized with a disinfectant before and after your treatment with Witch Hazel or alcohol.
☀️Using a closed receptacle to hold all my soiled linens
☀️Soiled linens are washed at 160 degrees.
☀️ All clean towels are stored in a closed cabinet.
☀️All instruments are cleansed with soap and water to remove any debris.
☀️The instruments are disinfected and soaked in a decontaminate cleaner to kill off pathogen bacteria.
☀️The instruments are baked in a dry heat sterilizer greater than 400 degrees.
☀️All creams, lotions and liquids are labeled, dated and in closed containers.
☀️Refraining from work when ill and encouraging sick clients to stay home and reschedule
