little life update;

For those of you who did not know - I enrolled in beauty school back in August 2023 to get my accredited 600 hours to test for the CA Esthetics state board exam. I worked my normal 8-4:30 and would go straight from work to school from 5:30-10:00 Monday-Friday for 7 months!

I completed my 600 hour program on 03/07/24, and was very insanely happy to be home and in bed before 9:00 PM again! 😂 Since then - I had been patiently waiting for the Board of Cosmetology & Barbering to approve my application to take the state board exam.

Well - as of 04/10/2024, I am OFFICIALLY a California Licensed Esthetician! ☺️ Shout out to my husband & best friend Trent for pushing me to be the best version of myself every day, and for ensuring I was holding myself accountable every time I wanted to bail on school. You truly are my soulmate and I am so blessed & thankful to have married my best friend, I love youu!! ❤️

Lisa spent so many late night hours (3 hour time difference!) listening to me rant about school, or work, or both and being my unofficial therapist haha! I am so blessed to have the best in-laws anyone could ask for, I am so thankful for you guys & love you so so much!
