As much as waxers LOVE to pick at your ingrowns.. we don’t want you suffering with them especially when you are OUR client. Here’s a break down of what you should be using:1. Glycolic and/or salicylic - leave sitting on skin for minimum of 2 minutes or up to 5 minutes. Gives the acid time to do its job. Do this 2x a week. More or less as needed. 2. Antibacterial soap. PERIOD. Always have one on hand for day to day use. This is your gentle cleanser. 3. Yes lotions are fine to use, but also… stop it. Get yourself an oil immediately. Use morning and night. Every. Single. Day. IF you need a lotion I would recommend (I hate saying this) fur you stubble cream. It’s light weight, has tea tree, and a hair inhibitor. If you want as close to a pain free wax you can get, this will get you there! Do your final exfoliation the day before your wax ,and YES, moisturize the day of your appointment! Talk to your waxers and get the results you pay for!

Let’s talk about ✨ pre appointment anxiety ✨ it’s a real thing! I even get it before my appointments and this is my job! I try to relate it to the gym. I hate making the time to go, it’s going to hurt, but the feeling when I leave is like I can conquer anything. Retrain your thoughts on hard things! They’re worth the effort 💚

If you guys have been following along.. this mama took a break after finding out she was pregnant for about 4 months from waxing (first pic). The second picture is 4 weeks after her appointment… if that doesn’t convince you to take leap and try waxing, I don’t know what will! 💛
