Dogs are subjected to as much toxicity as humans are but they lack the choices we have because they are at the mercy of their people.
When people make better choices, our animals get better.
Most food for animals is a complete toxic chemical sludge. People wonder why they spend thousands of $$ on vet visits.
It doesn't have to be this way. When you choose better food, you are giving your pup so much benefit.

Never stop believing in the power of fully healing.
Fifteen years ago you wouldn't recognize me.
So many days spent wasting away on my couch in Santa Monica.
I created the beginning of Fermenting Fairy when I was feeling like death.
But I kept the faith. I kept believing in my body and the sweet microbes that wanted me to thrive.
Every single person said that I was crazy to be off all medications AND start a business from scratch as a single woman with a "disease". I did it anyway.
Freedom from illness is our birthright. Keep the trust.

1. Start early morning. Feed your starter 100 g filtered water, 100 g flour, 100 g starter. Use warm water. Place cloth on top of jar and secure with rubber band. Put jar in a dark warm place like a cabinet or oven (off). Let it rise for about 4 hours. It should double in size. DO NOT LET YOUR STARTER FERMENT UNTIL IT STARTS TO FALL BACK DOWN. YOU WANT TO USE IT WHEN ITS UP.
2. When starter is actively rising and has doubled, in a large bowl mix 100 g starter, 500 g flour, 375 g water, 10 g salt. Mix with hands. Place cloth over bowl. Let sit for the rest of the day. The longer, the better, the more digestible.
3. At the end of the day, wet your hands and stretch the dough in all 4 directions in the bowl. Do this 3-4 times waiting in between stretches.
4. Then take it out of the bowl, flour the counter, and stretch it so that seems are up on the counter.
5. Place parchment paper in a proofing bowl or any bowl. Place dough seem side up in the proofing bowl. Cover it and Place in fridge overnight.
6. Early morning preheat oven to 500 with Dutch oven plus lid in it as its preheating. Once it reaches temp. Take Dutch oven out.
7. Turn dough onto counterwith seem down on another parchment paper. With a sharp knife or scoring blade, slice deeply in the middle of your dough. Place dough and parchment in Dutch oven and bake with lid on for 20 minutes. Then take lid off, lower temp to 450 and bake for another 23 minutes.
8. Place on cooling rack turn off oven :)

The weight that is ideal for me is the body that I feel best in.
I hear women say "I need to lose 20 pounds"
I say "According to who?"
If you are basing your weight off of a sick world that doesn't know healthy from a hole in the wall, then you will forever be "fat"
I have a belly, my thighs touch and my butt is saggy :))
AND I feel my best right now: Im sleeping like a queen, hormones are good, my energy throughout the day is perfect, my digestion is optimal.
I dont starve myself and I dont take any meds or anything synthetic. I simply changed my mindset to:
Do I feel amazing? Over:
Am I trying to reach a never ending rat race of looking thin because that's what the sick beauty industry standards expect?
I spent most of my life being half the size I am now. And guess what?
I had bad insomnia
I lost my period for a few years
I had to take afternoon naps
I was short tempered
I ate very little calories
Ive come a long way. And most of that was accepting the body I have now while simultaneously feeling beautiful and HOT!

Personally my workouts have been off the charts amazing! The only thing that has changed is me eating my fermented beets for 2 months.

In my opinion, this is the only way to eat beets on a regular basis.
Eating too many beets can result in oxalate toxicity because beets are high in oxalic acid.

Fermenting beets breaks down oxalic acid so that it does not get stored in your tissues. When it is stored in your tissues, your body cannot detoxify it or eliminate the excess. So you begin to have symptoms that you don't want.

By using wild fermentation, our beets will have very low, if any, oxalic acid content.

**The best news: When your body does not have to break down anti-nutrients, it can absorb the nutrients you DO want!

Beets are loaded with nitrates, one of the best food sources your body converts to nitric oxide.

So many people tell me they love to bake bread but dont get the oven rise.
The key to the oven rise is the STARTER!
There are other factors involved but if you have 2 things solid with your starter, you cant mess it up:

1. If you are not making bread weekly, then you should be feeding your starter weekly. The starter is what activates the fermentation process of the dough. You want a very used, very active starter

2. Even more important: Using the starter when its actively rising (growing). I see too many people feed their starter and leave it for 8-12 hours. By this time, its on its way back down from doubling. You'll have flat bread.
The best bread I make is from active starter that doubled by 4-5 hours. I use slightly warm filtered water mixed with the previous starter and some flour. I put the new starter in my oven (oven is OFF) or cupboard for a dark home to grow. When it doubles and becomes bubbly by 4-5 hours, you can mix the flour, water, salt and starter.
I'll post my super easy, fool proof recipe very soon.
