I need to make this absolutely clear: I do not, and will never, condone sexual exploitation of a minor—or any crime against children. I recently learned that someone I once supported is facing charges of sexual exploitation of a minor.

I want it known that their actions and legal situation have nothing to do with me, my values, or the work I stand for. My position has always been and will always be to protect children, to speak out against abuse, and to demand accountability for anyone who harms them.

Please do not mistake my past kindness or support of this person as acceptance of their behavior. Sexual exploitation of children is inexcusable and I will always take a firm stand against it
