The foam roller is an excellent bit of kit for massaging out those stubborn trigger points in the back and leg muscles. It can also be used to improve flexibility.

Here we gently and carefully lean back across the roller to open the pelvis, stretch and strengthen the tummy muscles and mobilise the spine. We call it the "three-in-one" triad. You can do this 3-4 times per day, start low down and then roll higher up the spine all the way to the neck.
