A Wake-Up Call: Please Stop the Hate on Our Hardworking Doctors

In a world where heroes wear scrubs instead of capes, why are we so quick to tear them down? I’ve seen it too many times—doctors pouring their hearts into saving lives, working grueling shifts, making split-second decisions under immense pressure—only to log online and face a barrage of nasty comments. “You’re just in it for the money.” “They are all drug pushers.” “Doctors are the real problem.” Really?

These are the same people who held the line during pandemics, who skip family dinners to be there for yours, who carry the weight of life-and-death every single day. Burnout is real, compassion fatigue is rampant, and yet, behind every harsh tweet or review is a human being who’s probably saved more lives than we’ll ever know.

Let’s flip the script. Next time you’re tempted to vent frustration online, pause. Doctors aren’t perfect, but they’re dedicated. Show gratitude. Offer constructive feedback if needed. And remember: kindness costs nothing, but it could mean everything to someone saving the world one patient at a time.

If you’re a doctor (or medical professional) reading this—thank you. You’re appreciated more than you know. 💙

This is by far the best cosmetic surgery I’ve ever had. period. Plus, it was so nice not to have any major cutting or scars, with such an easy recovery. Dr. Cyr is a true artist and has the kindest bedside manner of any surgeon I’ve ever known.

My face looks much more narrow and slimmer and more tone and my neck looks a lot better too. Over the years, I realized I was spending thousands a year on different cosmetic procedures that made a minimal difference, so you might as well do something that’s relatively simple - but that’ll make a much bigger difference. I highly recommend Dr. Cyr for this procedure to anyone! ~Janet Amador Quintanilla

We are really excited about our patient’s results after a minimally invasive facelift and neck lift using OrthoSculpt, Dr Steven's Cyr's own technique (that includes ultrasound liquefication of the fat, followed by liposuction, followed by radio frequency skin tightening) that allows him to extract fat from around the muscular anatomy creating a more natural appearance as that of a fitness athlete. Dr. Cyr's background in Orthopedics gives him specific knowledge of human anatomy, enabling more precise surgical outcomes.

The nose and ears are the primary human body parts that never stop growing throughout a person's lifetime. While they do not technically "grow" via cell division like in youth, the cartilage, soft tissues, and skin in these areas continue to expand and sag, driven by gravity, causing them to appear larger with age.

• Nose: The structural cartilage in the nose breaks down over time, allowing the structure to lengthen and stretch.

• Ears: Similar to the nose, the cartilage in the ears continues to grow.

• Earlobes: These often elongate due to gravity, contributing to the overall increased size of the ear.

• Hair: While individual follicles have cycles, hair continues to grow from the scalp and body throughout life.

• Nails: Fingernails and toenails are constantly produced by the nail matrix.

• Skin: Though it sags rather than grows in a traditional sense, skin constantly regenerates and stretches, often appearing to increase in surface area.

Note: While some sources list 6 parts, consensus strongly points to the ears (and lobes) and nose as the primary anatomical structures that truly increase in size with age.
