Have you thought about where your habits ever came from? 🧐

Did you ever grow up with your parents telling you to finish your plate even though you were already full?

Or maybe it was part of your culture in your home to eat more when you feel sad or upset...

Or food was always used as a celebratory and that’s carried out into your adult life and it’s become your primary reward system 🏆

These unknowingly destructive habits have probably been holding you back from staying on track with your goals.

I know some of mine have😅

I’ve spent years deconstructing my cravings around food, over eating, and weekend binges.

I went from obsessively thinking about food and always counting my calories to being a balanced,stress free, and an intuitive eater💁🏻‍♀️

I lost 20 pounds in one year just by reducing stress, working out less, and getting better sleep.

AND...

Deconstructing my coping mechanisms🙃

We all have them and most of them are there to keep us safe. In our comfort zone and unfortunately keep you in the yo-yo diet cycle.

Ask your self what kind of relationship do you have with food and is it serving you in the way you want in your life to achieve your health goals?

This is a way out a way to get on track AND stay on track!

You can eat healthy and exercise all day but if your not changing your mindset then you’ll be stuck in the yo-yo cycle longer then you’d like. 😬

Eating The Right Way

When you think about being healthy, what do you think of first?

Which aspects of being healthy are important, which are essential, and which ones can you take or leave? You be the judge.

Once you begin to move beyond basic background information you begin to realize that there’s more to health then you may have first thought.

It probably comes to you as naturally as a breathing- The art of eating. However, you might never have been taught to eat well. This is critically important because, unless you learn to eat well, you may never mastered the art of truly feeling your best self. In our society, certain destructive behaviors around eating her become routine by attacking these habits, you can increase the likelihood that you will actually release unwanted weight, improve digestion, and even reduce stress.

 Start with learning to eat slowly.😌
At first, this might be challenging with your busy schedule but we have been conditioned to live in a fast food world. We rush meals and to have time to run to school, work, or events. We think that rushing saves us time – but such a routine can easily backfire, leaving us with unwanted pounds.🙅🏻‍♀️

Studies have shown that at least 10 minutes is required before the brain receives the message that the stomach is full. This means that you could be eating longer after you are actually satiated. Your meal – whether it’s in the morning, afternoon, or evening Dash should last at least 10 minutes. ⏱

Train yourself to lengthen your meal by engaging in conversation, resting your fork between courses, chewing slowly, and drinking plenty of water between horses. You should also wait at least 10 minutes after your main meal before deciding if you want dessert. Within that time frame, you may discover that you weren’t really hungry after all for dessert.

This is a technique that can really improve not just your body but your mind as well. This allows you to be more mindful and grateful for the meal that you have, and the nutrients it will give you to perform at your best!✨

Over Eating is not an over night fix!

If you happen to overeat, don’t spend a great deal of time sulking.

Take a deep breath...
Accept you mistake...
And as ask yourself how you can learn from this?

If you’ve veered off course your not alone and I’m here to tell you it’s time to EMBRACE your mistakes!

Your struggles are windows to achieving your goals.🙌🏽

I know what it’s like finding yourself eating out of frustration or going off your diet entirely.

From experience it’s better to sabotage a single meal than a lifetime’s worth goals!

Feeling self-conscious at first as you attempt to change your eating habits is completely normal. Stepping out of your comfort zone is always uncomfortable.😌

Realize that your bad habits did not start overnight, so it will take some time to correct them. While it may seem a difficult task initially, I promise you it is well worth the effort. 🙌🏽

As you develop new eating habits you’ll transform a better experience around releasing unwanted weight, letting go of the weekend binges, and improving your mindset towards food. You’ll be in control what you put in your body and when. You’ll have a balanced regimen that seems easy and effortless to stick to.

The biggest lie we were ever told...

🥩 Meat is bad for you
🥗 Only plants are good for you
🍽 Diets work

Being in the health and wellness industry for over 5 years these are the lies I was told myself!

The truth is that our farming practices have everything to do with why your struggling to lose weight,constantly have cravings, painful digestive problems, and suffering from chronic fatigue.

If YOU struggle with this then keep reading

Here are things you can do RIGHT NOW...

- 🌱 Start buying organic: organic foods don’t contain synthetic chemical and have more nutrient density. This will aid in better digestion, more energy, and more vibrant tasting food.

- 🙅🏻‍♀️ Remove artificial sweeteners/Refined Sugars: they are actually considered neurotoxins and can make you crave more sugar. You can these this with natural sweeteners that won’t increase your hunger.

- 💧 Drink high quality water: most bottled water is acidic ( doesn’t actually hydrate you) drinking real alkaline water with minerals is much more hydrating and beneficial for your body. You’ll also notice less hunger/ cravings when consume more water.

- ⬇️ Reduce caffeine: caffeine makes you age FASTER. Overly stimulating your adrenal glands your going to get exhaust yourself making you more dependent for more stimulants and eventually leaving you completely fatigue and having other health issues

- 💊 Take vitamins: no matter how clean you eat you will always lack nutrients because the soil lacks nutrients (even organic). Vitamins are better taken in a formula vs Individually because they all help each other become absorbed and utilized properly.

Baseline concepts -
- If you can’t pronounce it don’t eat it
- Eat less of what comes from a box and more of what grows from the ground or what eats from the ground
- Organic will always extend far more nutrients then conventional

Let's face it, clear skin comes easily to a few lucky individuals, but for most of us, a blemish free state is a constant battle.⁠⠀⁠⁠
