I was feeling under the weather and unfortunately I had to reschedule my original model but my man offered to be my model since I set up my station the previous night 🥹

Perfect skin? Flawless makeup. ✨✨

💕 Having perfect skin serves as an ideal canvas for makeup application, leading to flawless results. This is because smooth, clear skin provides a uniform surface, enabling makeup products to adhere evenly and last longer.

💕With that being said, I am in no way shape or form, trying to degrade or insult anyone who doesn’t have perfect skin. Everyone is gorgeous inside and out!! In reality, it’s my job to ENHANCE your beauty, not transform you into a face-tuned, photoshopped version Kim K!

💕 Just an FYI, my model here is only 17 years old. her skin is youthful, clear, and is the perfect base for flawless makeup application. if you don’t have the glass skin or skin with zero flaws that is totally OKAY!!!!

Unpopular opinion: Touch up kits should be an obvious!

As an MUA it’s really important for me to give all of my clients a touch up kit! 💋

Here’s a full breakdown:

🎀 Powder puff: Already prepped for my client, they take this home because I will not reuse or wash a powder puff! 🙅🏽‍♀️

🎀 Beauty blender: Already prepped for my client, they take this home because I will not reuse or wash a beauty blender! I cut mine in half to reduce space in my kit & double my blender supply! 💁🏽‍♀️

🎀 Lash Glue: Again don’t ask me why I JUST thought about putting the glue into a small tube 🥲 In my defense, I completely forgot I had the silver lid tubes! My girlies who wear lashes know how inconvenient it is to have a lash lift and you’re stuck with no glue! I make sure my clients are ready for anything! 🤷🏽‍♀️

🎀 Disposables: I make sure to include a q-tip for watery eyes or smudges, liner brush for the lash glue, spoolie for lashes, and a lip applicator for their lip product. 💁🏽‍♀️

🎀 Makeup Wipe: I always remind clients to TAKE. OFF. THEIR. MAKEUP. 👏🏽 It gives me peace of mind knowing they have something to remove the glam at the end of the day! 😌

🎀 Lip product container: Since not everyone has a glossy lip or matte lip, I like to grab whatever lip product I used on the applicator and place it in the tube for a quick touch up of the lips! 💋

🎀 Thank you card & Oil absorbing sheets: Pretty self explanatory! Thank you for your support in my business and here are some blotting sheets for any oil that may peek through! 😇

🎀 Bobby Pins: Even if my client doesn’t get a hair service done, you never know when you’ll need a bobby pin or two! Better to be safe than sorry! 😗

🎀 Mint: Self explanatory again! Fresh breath is a great finishing touch when you’re glammed! Looking good 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾 smelling good go hand in hand babes! 🥰
