Hey guys! I went to a costume Gala last night and got to have some fun with this disco🕺🏽hair and makeup and now I wish this was acceptable everyday fashion 😂❤️ anyways, just sharing in case someone needed an idea for a costume party 🎉

A transition from an on scalp bleach touch up (not my previous work) to a life of (slightly) less maintenance 🤣 at least appointments can be spaced out further with a more graceful grow out. 😍🤩

Obsessed would be an understatement 😩😍🤩 swipe for more goodness and the before. For this session we focused on a face frame highlight with a little blending on the crown, and we didn’t even shadow root 😎💯 sometimes less is WAY more.

Quick little touch up (it wasn’t quick) lol 😬😍 also meet the salon mascot, Maya in the background… if you’re lucky she might give you a dirty look cause she can’t hear the tablet over the blow dryer 🙄

THIS!!!!! 😍🙌🏾 If “make your hair an accessory” was a look! I’m living for this. But let’s take a deeper dive here just cause it’s been coming up a lot. Postpartum hair loss is NOT discussed publicly enough! This can make the experience extremely scary for some women. I find that most women are not informed by their doctors that this will likely take place and so they think that something is going terribly wrong when it’s actually extremely common. I have likened it to the response your body would have after any traumatic experience or illness. We forget the immense impact that birthing a child has on our bodies and so, your body is actually taking care of itself in this form. We shed the old and unhealthy and regrown fuller, more healthy hair. So much that sometimes there’s is an obvious line of the new hair growth against the old and so in most cases it’s best to make a nice chop to even it out… and if you’re gonna do it, then why not do it like this?! Amiright?! Lol (we also added some chocolate dimension realness) Anyways, I hope this helps someone who needs to hear it. Your hair WILL come back! Fall is a great time to let dead things go 🍂🍁🍃 and transition into the new ✨
