This month, the Color Street Foundation's focus is Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention. We are pledging a total contribution of $150,000 USD to two charity partners that help to keep children safe and support and strengthen families: National Children’s Alliance and Safe Families for Children.

About Our Charity Partners:
National Children’s Alliance supports over 900 Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) where child victims of abuse can go for intervention and counseling. CACs support victims by providing all necessary services in one location. At these facilities, trained interviewers and caring professionals get victims the help they need through coordination with doctors, law enforcement, child protective services, prosecution, mental health services, and more.

Safe Families for Children serves the US and Canada by hosting vulnerable children and creating extended support for families facing a crisis. Through volunteer Host Families, Family Friends, and Family Coaches, SFFC temporarily hosts children and provides a network of support to families while they get back on their feet. Communities work together to prevent child abuse, decrease the number of children entering foster care, and provide family support and stabilization with the goal of keeping children safe and families together.
