Some things to remember:
✨ It's important to shower, exfoliate and do any shaving 24-48hrs before your tan. This will get rid of any dead skin and create the perfect base for your spray tan.
✨ Be sure not to apply any products the day of your appointment. Any residue from products (soaps, perfume, moisturizer, deodorant) can create a barrier that may prevent your spray tan from going on evenly, possibly leaving you blotchy!
✨ Make sure that you are moisturizing 2x daily with a spray tan safe lotion in the days leading up to your tan and also after. The life of your tan depends on it!
✨ Avoid long hot showers. I know they're amazing but they will also dry out skin and strip your tan!
✨ Dove soap. Don't do it! Not before or after your spray tan. Not only can it cause your spray tan to streak & fade, it has the possibility of turning your tan an unnatural color.
Follow your prep/post care instructions and you're on the road to a beautiful long lasting glow!
