Let's talk about ✨sustainable packaging✨
This is huge. So many big companies spend big money on flashy and unnecessary packaging. While it can be nice to look at, it more often than not, adds to landfills and is a waste.
FUN FACT: Up to 80% of all recycled glass can be reclaimed. Not all plastic can be recycled. And unlike glass, plastic leeches toxic chemicals into the environment as time passes.
In being completely transparent, when I invested money in my brand I wanted it to be in what I believed in: sustainability. Ingredients that are sourced thoughtfully, glass bottles instead of plastic, aluminum tins that can be recycled, and plastic containers for my masks that can not only be recycled but repurposed (I'm still testing and sourcing glass containers for masks). Even the new packaging tape is compostable!
