Cleansing scrubs…summer series!
•
That first pic was me channeling my sweet Granma. Lavender and lilac and I know she would love them.
•
Fun fact… I do NOT care for the smell of lavender. But it was my Granma’s favorite. I would buy her lavender colored clothing, lavender products, take her to lavender fields. So everything I make that is lavender has a little extra love for her.
•
There are lots of fun options for the summer! You can grab them live this weekend.
•
Be it with me live or in a store, you’ll be so happy with this cleansing scrub.

Honey!
•
It’s the perfect time to get your homemade drink game dialed in. Of course honey is part of that.
•
Be it lemonade… my favorite this time of year. Lemonade, limeade, watermelon, strawberry, strawberry basil, cherry, so many options!!! Honey should be in each one.
•
Skip that white powdery stuff and go with honey.
•
Even if you make adult beverages, honey goes right in there to cut that adult taste and give it a fun sweet summer vibe.
•

What’s up Wednesday.
•
is on the rise this summer!
•
My boy has started making foot bags. What’s a foot bag? It’s a good hacky sack. Paneled, suede, nice.
•
He has sold a handful, has a handful on order and just got an order for 7 yesterday.
•
These sacks are all handmade and pretty awesome.
•
What’s most fun is to watch all these kids, literally everywhere… kick up their sack skills.
•
But as his momma the fact that I get to watch him hustle with his entrepreneur skills gives my heart a full workout. Proud of that dude with his vision and work ethic!
•
You are welcome to follow along.
for the hacky sacks and ordering
for baseball
•
Hope Wednesday gets you flowing for what’s to come with the rest of the week.

We got a project!
•
We are building a rack for our black Costco bins.
•
I love the people I know who forwarded me the metal one from Costco for $280. I so appreciate the looking out.
•
My OG plan was to have mine be 5 high… but that would have been ridiculous! I am putting mine on castors so I can move it. It is going to live under my deck. So in case whatever I can roll it around.
•
Because of my change in plans I had more wood than needed and built a bucket tower as well for vertical planting since those savage mini Dino’s in my back yard eat everything!
•
I have a 2x3 and 2x4 to return. I would have had 2 more 2x3’s… but already cut them.
•
We are also going to put a skin on the top and back of this rack for added protection. That is the only thing I have left to buy.
•
Thus far I have spent $148. By the time this project is complete I will have spent $100+ less than the metal retail version and mine will be moveable and have some covering.
•
This will be the trial version. Odds are good my shed will get cleared out and 2 of these will be built on the walls with some sort of 3rd on wheels to move from one side of the shed to the other.
•
Here is my point. Yes, you can buy things! But sometimes you want something specific. Something exact. Something the way YOU want it. When that happens, just do it.
•
I can do it. You can do it. We can all do it. Sometimes we just need the reminder that we can and should do it.

Soap.
•
I made a decision last week on soap. Time to say bye bye to my existing soap supply.
•
So yesterday I delivered over 120 bars the my local homeless outreach person.
•
I give stuff to that program pretty often, but this is the biggest full sized soap give ever.
•
My newest soaps are a week away from being retail able and I’m in the mode to clear out the “old”.
•
It’s not just soap! I’ve done it with candles. Yard stiff. Serving utensils. Clothing. I even asked Kash if we should get rid of our red couch. He talked me off the ledge on that one.
•
Point is, sometimes life has a way of making us shed. A variety of ways. A variety of reasons. Take those moments and do your best to help people with them.
•
So glad I have access to such a lovely outreach who spends Mondays out helping the people.
•
A variety of benefits come with acts like this. But most importantly, the benefit of knowing I can be helpful to someone who can use help.
•
It’s the same reason we have extra blankets in our vehicle in winter. Why we always keep a little cash in the car. (Years ago we saw someone who could use some help and little Kash was so upset we didn’t have any cash in the car. Also if that boy gets a tip from a job he does, if we see a homeless person on the drive hone, he always has me circle back and he gifts his tip money).
•
Just wanted to share a reminder that sometimes it’s the littlest thing that can help someone.
•
Have a great Monday.

Oh no!!! Not the bear!
•
Let’s be real for a minute. Honey should never be in plastic. Never. Ever.
•
Marketing has had people thinking honey bear. Maybe because of Pooh Bear… but that dude keeps his in a ceramic crock. Plus you know, he’s an illustration.
•
Glass is where it’s at on the honey front. You will always find Home Grown honey in glass. It’s local, should not crystallize unless it gets heat cycled, but if it somehow does crystallize… pop it in a warm bath. The runny goodness will come back. And of course you want it to be in glass for that!
•
If you happen to have that plastic bear, please please please, DO NOT stick it in the microwave! Do not heat it at all. Just throw it out and get you some glass jars of honey.
•
at the HomeShed Friday-Monday.

What’s up Wednesday.
•
Wanted to share my little pumpkins. My buddy harvested her beautiful sugar pumpkins, saved the seeds, and packaged them up.
•
I popped some in the dirt last week and now I have them popping in 2 places.
•
If you want to grow pumpkins…. PLANT THEM NOW!
•
Goal with these it to have them grow up my cattle panel arches. Can you just picture that cuteness.
•
I’ve lost a lot in the garden to snails this season, but I think I got a handle on it and we are getting on with the growing.
•
Happy Wednesday y’all!
