Gastric Sleeve

QUESTION FROM MEMBER:

I'm 1 week post op, I'm having trouble keeping fluids in. I go to the bathroom Literally 2 minutes later. I cant even drink water it makes me want to gag and it feels heavy on my chest. What can I do to keep these liquids in?

I have hashimoto disease /hypothyroidism/anemic.
Has anyone had the gastric sleeve while having these problems? How was surgery and how are u know after having it done? How long has it been? I've been trying for years to lose weight but the only way I could lose weight was when I was pregnant 4 years ago. My thyroid makes it IMPOSSIBLE.

If I already had the sleeve 13 years ago had a baby in October, 5 months pregnant now ... would it be safe to get a re sleeve?

Has anyone heard of, or better yet had, a endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty?? Is basically a normal sleeve, but done with and endoscope instead of needing surgery. They stick a camera a land suturing device down your throat into your stomach and reduce the size of the stomach by around 70% by stitching it up. Apparently it drastically reduces the risk of complications and has a lot less recovery time also.

Just wondering the pros and cons of this versus the conventional surgery...??? If this is so fantastic, why isn’t it done far more often/widely? Thanks
