She received her education at the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in New York State, which holds the highest standards in the country for massage licensing, demanding 1000 hours of hands-on practice. She is also nationally certified with the NCBTMB, which requires extensive continuing education courses to maintain certification. April has a passion for providing relief massage focusing on shoulder, hip, and connective tissue problems. She uses Eastern modalities to ease stress and bring balance to her clients by creating a peaceful atmosphere. April has had years of martial arts training which also brought her focus to sports oriented work. After working in the field for over six years in the DC area, April brings her skills to San Diego where she sees a need not only for providing effective therapeutic work but also the importance of educating clients to understand the root cause of their pain and the ways they can effectively manage it.
