Hi! It's been a while since I've introduced myself!
👋I'm Lindsey Mulvey and, I'm a Certified Holistic Health Coach, a wife, and mother to my 7-month old son, Oliver. We moved to Asheville, NC, two years ago after traveling through Mexico, Central America, and South America (half of that trip we traveled in our beloved trucks Poppins).
💖My passion is empowering new moms and women to take that first step in creating transformation in their lives. Not just with the foods that they eat but the lifestyle they are living. As a health coach, I become my client's biggest cheerleader.
🥕I do one-on-one coaching with the option of a 1, 3, or 6-month program. The programs that I run are created, on my client's individual needs and goals. You don't need to live in Asheville - all sessions can be done virtually.
🤓I'm passionate and educated on helping individuals detox off of sugar. In fact, I'm kind of a nerd about it. I love educating clients on the negative impacts of our food supply (sugar is in everything) and giving them healthier and easier options for eating.
🥦When people ask me what's my number one tip as a health coach is, I always say EAT WHOLE FOODS. The less food has been altered, the better. Always read food labels, and if you can't understand the ingredients - then it's probably not best to buy. Fewer ingredients are best!

There are only a few more days left to jump on my 21 Day Sugar Elimination Group Program! If you're interested in doing something really great for yourself and your body for three weeks, then this is for you! If you're at the beginning of Dry January then this will take it to the next level!
The 21-Day is not a deprivation "diet" - you eat when you're hungry. You eat healthy, whole, and clean foods (sorry, no alcohol).
Anything is possible for 21 days and, it goes by faster than you would think. We also have a great group of people who are in for the challenge and, I always say there is power in numbers!

I'm back from maternity leave + accepting new clients for the fall!!!
As your health coach, I will be your biggest cheerleader and help your life get back into balance. So often, we want to invite change into our lives and, our "list" of what to change is a mile long. You might start strong for a week or so, but then you get burnt out - likely because you are taking too much on and don't have someone to guide you.
Together we will set attainable goals and meet bi-weekly - I will hold you accountable and, I'm not afraid to give you a little tough love!

Happy Valentines Day, Y'all! 💗
I had to get creative in the kitchen today to whip up a delicious treat for my husband and me that fell in line with our 21 Day Sugar Elimination!
I have been seeing versions of this avocado mousse floating around for a while now, and I'm happy I finally gave it a whirl! This recipe will be in the rotation for years to come! Recipe below! 👇
🥑1 ripe avocado
🥑1 green tipped banana (if following the 21 Day Sugar Elimination - if not, a regular banana is OK)
🥑1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
🥑1/4 c. unsweetened coconut milk
🥑1/2 tsp vanilla extract
🥑pinch of cinnamon
🥑pinch of sea salt
Additional toppings: cocoa nibs, crushed nuts, shredded coconut (or all of the above)
Add all ingredients to a blender or magic bullet and blend until everything is incorporated. Add your toppings and enjoy!
**This will make about four small servings, depending on the size of your avocado and banana.**

"Climb that goddamn mountain." - Jack Kerouac.
I thought I had failed, big time.
I had spent all this time, energy, and love creating a group program that I was so excited about it and personally sincerely believed in. I had talked to many people who seemed interested in taking it on, but when it came time to share it with the world *crickets*.
I felt discouraged, sad, embarrassed, frustrated, and let down. Was anyone seeing me or hearing me? Did they think I was a joke? What should I be doing differently?
It's hard to put yourself out there and not get much back. In today's day and age of social media, that feeling of not being good enough seems amplified, especially if you don't receive that instant gratification of someone liking your post. It's such a vulnerable place to put yourself in!
Even though I was upset about the lack of response I was getting, I kept moving forward. I didn't put myself out there as much as I had planned, but I did keep trying.
I had finally come to terms that it just wasn't going to happen. My 21 Day Sugar Elimination Challenge had failed. I was working on coming to terms with it. I immediately began trying to find the lessons I could learn in the face of failure.
This challenge was supposed to be the last big thing I did before taking a step back to have a baby. So, I figured I would move forward with the detox on my own, and then I would have time to get all my ducks in a row before I am catapulted into motherhood.
I was just about to take it down off my website when something magical happened.
Someone signed up, and then more people signed up!
Now I am leading a few excited and ready individuals through my 21 Day Sugar Elimination Challenge! It wasn't a failure after all!
So keep climbing that mountain, ESPECIALLY if you believe in the reason for climbing it in the first place. If you have a gift and know you can provide value to the world, keep going. Don't stop, even if it doesn't "fit in" with your original "vision." The world needs that gift more than you think!

I stepped up my weekday breakfast game today and made one of my favorites, avocado toast! 🥑
Pregnancy has really changed the way I eat! I had no idea how hungry (or tired) I would be all the time. Before being pregnant, I loved my "digestive breaks" and wouldn't introduce food in my day until at least 11 am. NOW I eat two breakfasts, and my stomach is growling consistently every morning at 7 am (sometimes even earlier)! Needless to say, my breakfast choices have been pretty pretty pretty boring and lacking creativity!
But today, I challenged myself to whip up something delicious and packed with so much goodness for me and my growing baby boy! It definitely required me to wash way too many dishes after assembly, but it was totally worth it!
Shout out to for providing the delicious GF base - your pumpernickel bread has been getting me through this pregnancy!
Read below for assembly 👇
🥑Your favorite gluten-free bread ()
🥑Smashed avocado
🥑Sauteed mushrooms in avocado oil
🥑Topped with a soft boil egg (fill a pot with one inch of water, bring to a boil, once boiling drop in your eggs, cover and boil for exactly six minutes)
🥑Sprinkle with Everything But the Bagel Seasoning from () I put that s*** on everything!

I'm sure your social media feeds are currently inundated with things like Dry January and lots of New Year resets or detoxes! Rightfully so, we all know the new year is a great time to pivot and invite healthy habits back into your life after the holiday season and a questionable year.
With that being said, I am so excited to share with you that I'll be kicking off a 21 Day Sugar Elimination Detox starting Monday, February 8th!
If you're thinking to yourself, "But Lindsey, I'm not much of a sweets person, so a 21 Day Detox doesn't apply to me." Well, let me ask you this, do you eat/drink any of the following items?

Sugar is in EVERYTHING, even the savory-salty stuff!🤦♀️ On top of it being everywhere in our food supply, it's highly addictive. While I don't consider an utterly sugar-free diet sustainable for many people, I do TRULY believe that it's a great idea to detox from it at least once a year.
