After almost an entire decade of funky styles with this beauty, we still come up with new ways to work with her fine hair. They’re always short, layered cuts, which creates the look of thicker, fuller locks.

For this diffused style, I used my fave Set Spray and Himalayan Salt Jelly.

Blonde AND low maintenance in the same sentence??

A special note to my blondies-

Doing a mini highlight and adding strategically placed lowlight sections can make your hair look so much brighter. The reason for this is because the super bright blonde pieces now have contrast.

By adding just a few subtle pieces of each will not only make your blonde pieces pop, but also make the grow out super low maintenance.

Let’s talk about live-in texture cuts.

This beauty is giving off some major fiery vibes! AND because of her busy schedule as a mom, she visits me once or twice a year. I am passionate about creating styles for people to grow into and extending the time between their visits (if that is their goal).

She has very dense, slightly wavy hair, so I got to have fun during this visit. I used point cutting to shed the excess weight and a razor to construct textured wavy movement.

But at the end of the day, this is YOUR hair, so that means we follow YOUR rules. Even if you have multiple inches of split ends, but can only stand to part with cutting one inch, that’s what we’re doing. No judgment whatsoever! I will adhere to your instructions and provide my professional feedback.

Respecting your boundaries should be automatic, but I have heard countless horror stories of stylists doing the opposite of what was requested. The services that I love to provide are on your terms, always.

Thankful for another year (11 or 12 + who’s counting?) creating workable beautiful styles that are healthy and easy to style for you to go off into your lives to be the badasses you are. Been feeling a bit stuck lately. Sometimes life be like that, right, it’s the beautiful ebb and flow of the universe. 2023 has been a rough year personally, many losses and lessons, albeit not without its fair share of growth and gifts as well.

I turned to my cards which *surprise😬surprise* I haven’t taken out in a hot minute. What I received was a beautiful gift of vulnerability, assurance and wisdom, encouraging me to re-align with my higher self in order to answer my calling.

I have been wanting to get out of my rut and being exhausted, not being true to myself, I am more excited than ever to start making some changes and get back on track. Maybe I’ll even start posting more! 🤗
