Nobody really talks about how weird that shift feels — when you don’t recognize the version of you that used to walk into rooms like you owned the place. Now you’re just trying to make it through the day without your thoughts dragging you.
But honestly… it happens. To all of us. Confidence isn’t a straight line, life be life’ing, and sometimes you outgrow people or spaces faster than you outgrow the feelings attached to them. It doesn’t mean you fell off — it means you’re in a transition.
And transitions be uncomfortable as hell.

I’m not embarrassed to say I’ve overplayed my spot in people’s lives. I never do it to look thirsty, I just love hard and I give out the same energy I wish I got back.
