NO WAR AGAINST IRAN!

Design Action was born out of resistance — forged during the anti-war movement against the U.S. invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. Those wars were launched on a foundation of lies, white supremacy, and a ruthless pursuit of control over resources in the Middle East.

Today, we are haunted by a familiar nightmare. The same drumbeat of war is sounding again — this time from the Trump administration. The same architects of empire, driven by greed and imperialist ambition, are pushing us into yet another reckless conflict — this time with Iran.

Let’s be clear: War is not waged for justice. War serves the rich. War destroys the lives of the poor and the people of the global South.

We’ve seen this before. And we refuse to be silent.

As we remember the fierce resistance of the early 2000s, we recommit to creative, collective action. We lift up voices of dissent. We amplify calls for global solidarity. And we say — once again, with urgency and conviction:

NO WAR. NOT IN OUR NAME. NO WAR AGAINST IRAN.

‼️NO WAR ON IRAN. NO GENOCIDE IN PALESTINE. NO EXCEPTIONS. ‼️

We are joining in saying NO to the war on Iran. We will not be silent while the U.S. empire trades in death to consolidate power. Check out their statement and sign on now: bit.ly/nowarnogenocide

Pro-union workers at REI are asking that you vote to block the company’s corporate nominees for their board. If you’ve bought anything at the co-op in the last year, there’s a good chance that you can help.

REI likes to refer to itself as The Co-op. It thrives on a brand of being progressive, yet it undermines the workers who organize for a union. “Pro-union workers have formally accused the company of breaking labor laws — threatening and intimidating workers, disciplining and firing organizers.” [1]

While it is a consumer co-op, that doesn’t mean its workers are in control. If you want to support workplaces where workers have real power, checkout worker co-ops like Food Co-op, , , and Design Action Collective [2].

If you want to learn how to turn your workplace into a worker-owned co-op, the Network of Bay Area Worker Co-operatives (pronounced “No Boss”) have the resources you need [3].
