Aestheticians are coming together to stand up for ourselves against skincare brands that have put our license and expertise into question. Some requiring us to partner with a medical director to carry products that aren’t even prescription grade (medical grade skincare is just a marketing term) and then turning around and selling direct to consumer on their site or allowing it on 3rd party sites. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.

As an aesthetician that specializes in WAXING, I am more often than not the very first licensed aesthetician that someone sees, and I am educating them on the very basics as far as what products to start with and why getting facials is important. Waxers are already limited in the products we can retail. It would be nice if I was able to carry the basics from brands I personally like and use but a lot of brands make it hard to even open an account or are selective with who they partner with unless you have a large enough following on socials. I have tried getting certain lines in my salon to retail but been either denied or asked for a med director, which I’d prefer to not have to.

Brow Wax + Hybrid Tint💥
