Lume Health
the next era of wearables is coming, continuous hormone monitoring.
PIVOT!!! Moving into our new office :)
it's crazy how different I feel based on lighting. what's your favorite hack for staying productive?
if i spend a few hours working under indoor lighting, it gets super hard to stay focused moving closer to a window doesn’t fix everything, but it usually helps me stay a little more alert through the day.

hormones don’t stay the same all day.
they move with sleep, stress, meals, workouts, and the thousand little things that happen between morning and night.
but most testing today only gives you one moment, a snapshot.
what we're building will let you know everything happening between those moments.
if you want to reverse your Lume wearable feel free to sign up for our waitlist in bio!
the journey is the reward - so grateful to be building something so meaningful with these people. 🥹🤍
some of the same molecules circulating in your bloodstream also show up in sweat. the reason why nobody's done this before is actually because until now, it's been impossible to build a sensor that's sensitive enough to detect those molecules without picking up all of the noise that's also in sweat.but a wise man once said, "It always seems impossible until it’s done."
struggle with sleep? you probably aren’t getting enough light!
a room can seem bright enough to work in, and still be far dimmer than what your brain would recognize as daytime.
once you start measuring lux, you realize how often indoor light is optimized for visibility, not biology.
bright daytime light helps send signals to the brain that it’s day. this supports alertness, mood, and the timing of your circadian rhythm.
our eyes adapt quickly, which makes most indoor spaces feel “normal.” but the actual signal your brain receives can change a lot depending on where you sit 💡
health happens in little choices
like sitting closer to a window. 🪟☀️
we didn't how much light was affecting us until we started Lume.
i thought i was just “bad at mornings.” or that feeling wired at night was normal. i didn’t connect it to the overhead lights, the late emails, the screens.
when we started learning about circadian health in those early days, it honestly changed how i saw my own habits. morning light started to feel less optional. dimmer evenings started to feel like a signal to my body, not just a vibe.
it's also really crazy how much there is still to learning. and it’s wild how something as ordinary as light can shape how you sleep, focus, and feel.
We are building the FUTURE of health, on your wrist! A lab on your wrist, where you can get insights on your own health. Like an Oura or Whoop but using your sweat and giving you measurements of your hormones.

we’re building a wearable hormone monitor that measures hormones through sweat.

doing our best out here to make health feel more human.
thanks for being here and joining our journey to build the future of wearable health and hormone measurement!
CORTISOL NEEDS TO BE HIGH IN THE MORNING.
A lot of people think cortisol is just “the stress hormone” and assume lower is better. But what we’re seeing in early testers is that many people don’t have enough in the morning. They’re flat when they should be rising.
A strong morning spike is part of a healthy circadian rhythm. It’s what helps you feel awake, focused, and ready to move.
The problem is, you won't be able to see that with the snapshot cortisol tests we have today. Instead of a pattern, you get a number, and that's not a lot of information to go by when it comes to your hormones.
But don't worry. We're building something better, the first wearable hormone monitor. Follow us to learn more.
