The Truth. Products are great, but the company and the lies it sells to consultants? AWFUL!

Pray for God‘s guidance, and order from me and my underlings so I can go to Hawaii. This is what Mary Kay is. The top of the pyramid needs all the others below to sell, go into debt, so she can reach her goal of a trip to Hawaii with her husband and son. Make no mistake, this is what Mary Kay is all about.

Oh, but you don’t have to have or purchase a large inventory. Just take a look at the shelves behind this woman. I bet half of those products, if not more are expired.

Liars. Cheaters. Manipulators. Pyramid scheme. “Start your own business with no money.” The small people work hard to give commissions to the top dog.

Promise of money, cars, trips, the more you spend the more your UPLINE makes. Earning income on the backs of other women is not enriching women’s lives.

Telling or begging, family and friends to buy from you, guilting them into supporting you. Walking up to strangers and asking for their phone numbers and emails?

The consultant is the number one customer for Mary Kay!

Consultants and directors when they can’t make their quota every month. The picture is real.

Email: telling me that my consultant ship with another MLM will cancel 4/1/23. These words sound so familiar, even though I haven’t been a consultant since I signed up, just to help someone, over a year ago. And I NEVER placed a consultant order.

“It’s time to make a plan:

Get orders! Call your friends, family and every customer you can. Ask them to place an order. Focus on products they need to refill. Every little bit helps!

Reach out! Use social media to let friends know you have a goal to hit by the end of the month. They’re your friends, and they’ll want to help!

Ask them to share your message or place an order ASAP.

Rally! Schedule a quick video call with friends and family for a fun and easy virtual party from your own home.

Host your own virtual home party! Rally your friends and family for a video call, and whip up a quick and easy home party online.

Hit the pavement! Visit local businesses and ask if they’d like to place an order. Start with the businesses you already support!

Ask for ideas! Contact your Sponsor or Director for more ideas, or reach out to other Consultants. They want to help you!”

At least they never recommended that I place an order for INVENTORY FOR MY BUSINESS. But who gets the bigger commission check when I do the work? Not me.

These are my besties. I chose this system to take care of my face. I get coupons from CVS, save up my extra bucks and monthly care pass. They work JUST AS WELL as any MK I've used.

1. High-end and drugstore products are made at the exact same manufacturers. What dictates price more than the formula itself is where it's made. A foundation made in Italy vs one made in China will have two very differed price points.

2. Most of the time you're paying for just the name and reputation

3. Blushes have a really high profit margin. Blush is basically an eye shadow.

4. Eyeliners are almost all made at the same exact place and are very similar in formula.

5. When you buy makeup you're mostly paying for the packaging. The product is the cheapest thing to make.

6. When brands go to retail stores vs being independent, the quality is almost guaranteed to go down because now they have a middle-man. So, they either have to raise prices or cut quality.
7. Talc is still a risk for having slight traces of asbestos

Commission percentages for sales directors can be four, six, eight, nine, or 13%. So you’d be getting between $24 and $78 for every $600 order. Boss babe? Glam gal? You are running your own business? Good luck with that.

Take a read on the pink picture. Absolute lies. It looks like consultants and directors all over are having issues with sales and recruiting. They can’t even give away items at assisted living facilities. Yes, I said giveaway. Where is the profit in that? A sales Director, who uses the $100 cash giveaway bribe, and discounts, I would love to find out how she’s making any profit with this.

So, all this means is that Mary Kay is the number one MLM across social media. Beauty consultants, their followers, and the desperate attempts to draw business. It’s just web traffic, hashtags, and marketing. So, in my mind, I’m thinking MK is the number one annoying company, trying to shove the products down our throats. Sounds about right. Woohoo…congratulations to a company at number one, ranked in annoying you.

“The intent with the momentum rankings continues to be to evaluate and acknowledge the companies experiencing significant growth in their online presence within the last thirty days. That said, November’s Momentum Ranking List saw some adjustment to the algorithm that resulted in the absolute change of fan and/or follower count now has more impact on rankings. Percentage change still more significantly impacts the growth calculation, and companies with high growth periods will continue to find themselves highly ranked.”

Consultants are required to pay/get orders of $1000/year (you need to make a $225 order, in total every quarter, to stay active in your business, get your 50% discount, and of course you'll spend $100 more throughout the year) for the opportunity to sell overpriced make-up in a saturated market from your home.

The only people with “financial security” in Mary Kay are those that work for Mary Kay Corporate, with a weekly salary and benefits.

For consultants, this can never provide “financial security” or even “stability”. IT IS A SCAM. No one is making money in Mary Kay via retail sales. The few that are making any money at all are recruiting, heavily, non-stop, to get commission checks from their minions.
