We rarely almost never say step mom or step kid for various reasons but mainly because although we separately birthed our girls we equally love and provide for our girls.

But the other day I had to under oath explain Bianca’s and Leigh’s relationship and holy emotions. They have the most beautiful relationships… and it’s not because of proximity.

It’s because of effort. Unconditional love. And something just magical. We jokingly say if we were ever co-parents we would have the greatest relationship for the kids.

Now obviously we are very much married and happy but I was just so amazed when I think about how much she loves Bianca and Vice versa and the same for Alicia and I.

All you would ever want for your child is for them to have the best most incredible relationships with people who love them.

We definitely got so lucky; our love story is one that shocks many. But our girls are so happy growing up together and it’s such a freaking blessing that our unit is our unit.

There are many days I just stop and think I literally married my best friend and our girls get to grow up together and how magical that feels.

It’s harder and tougher in some cases but worth it every single day. So blessed by this gorgeous woman and so grateful we get to do life together 🤍

In this life you have to focus on what makes you happy, what brings you joy, what’s fuels you fire.

Because truthfully you are damned if you do, and your damned if you don’t when it comes to other people 🤣

So here are some words of wisdom to followers, friends, humans on the other side of this post— after almost nine years of being a business owner and entrepreneur with multiple hats. From podcasts, to network marketing, to courses, to mentoring, to Airbnb and corporate leases, to fitness and to being your expert tiny human healer…

Focus on these three things for success:

1. FIGURE OUT THE GOAL: attach a big why to that goal. I’ve always taught people go seven levels down on your why to find the REAL why. And then put your blinders on. A mentor shared that years ago and it’s stuck every since. Your why and goal doesn’t need to make sense to anyone else but YOU!

2. POST CONTENT: that speaks to pain points of your target audience and be vulnerable. Share the good bad and hard and why the thing you are sharing can help them. For me, starting this course helped me pay my attorney fees, helped me dream bigger about the wedding I gave my wife, helping my parents in retirement, and our goals for our family… (if you actually read my posts I share that)

3. CONNECT IN YOUR STORIES: that’s where people get to know you. Learn your life and watch along the way. Now I’m not a reality show and I’m not here for your entertainment but people will get to know YOU in your stories and DMs.

That’s it. Success in any business came from that same strategy and focus. Those trying to talk about a digital product, a specific niche of content, or share a passion — focus on those three things.

People are people.
We all have triggers. We all have opinions.
That’s okay.

But to those seeing my posts more frequently maybe it’s a sign that you should actually leap at what I’m doing.

I’ve shared for years things that have WORKED for me in that season of my life + I have gone ALL IN! I’m not about to change that now 😘

Between the life we live. Cool weather. Water and mountains. The school system and activities. The water. Oh and the water lol It just hits differently 🤍

While it was so nice to visit home and spend time with our friends and family in AZ todays hike reminded me why I love it here

AND today was Bianca’s first hiking adventure and her and Hazel had the best time. ✨

Listen my wife doesn’t ask for much.

We joke that she does. But she really is simple (most times). Our wedding day was perfect… it truly was.

But I will say it wasn’t what either of us dreamed of. Now I wouldn’t say it was robbed from us but we allowed fear and unknowing to alter the dream.

I’m sitting here thinking about that day. I’m sitting here dreaming about our anniversary/ honeymoon trip planned in February to St. Lucia and I can’t wait.

But I am also thinking about after this ridiculous trial is over how I want to give her the wedding she deserves.

Now many of you know, I’ve been married before and had the wedding and all the hype and for me … eh. 🤣 this was perfect but for her I want that for her.

It’s interesting how when you have the funds coming in how your perspective changes.

I’ve never been one to want money to blow on expensive things, you’ll never catch me spending income I make on designer anything — maybe between two kids and two dogs I just am over it.

But since launching my digital product 3 weeks ago I’ve started to dream bigger again and that feels so freaking good.

I want that for you too.

Reunited and it feels so good 🤍

It’s not often we all get away from our busy lives to just hang out and have a great time.

Yesterday felt magical and I just sat back thinking about how absolutely proud I am of each one of them 🤍

I’m so incredibly blessed to have siblings like them and our girls are spoiled rotten between them all 🥰

It’s not often we are all in the same place but when we are it’s magical. 🤍

Granddaddy and T**i Martina came over to love on the girls and hang with the whole fam.

Let me tell you… our family in one house. Cooking together, playing, laughing, joking… this trip started rough but the in between has been pretty amazing. 🥹

Seriously the strongest, bravest, sweet girl ever right here. My sweet big baby girl 😭

Monday was a very hard traumatic day. We’ve been showered with so much love from the moment we stepped into the hospital to now.

She is home recovering with her favorite people and thriving. Kids are resilient AF. And it’s hard, in my line of work I can’t be scared outwardly and Monday felt very heavy.

Being her “Dr Momma” as she calls me but also her Momma who wanted her baby to be okay. It was so magical watching her just handle things in her Alicia way. Today she expressed how happy she was that I was there to keep her calm and take her to my old job and I about lost it. She’s such an empath.

But I will tell you, as Leigh and I talked it’s been so difficult to get on here and be normal and business as usual. It’s a fine balance of sharing with you all but also protecting our family. So I appreciate the grace you’ve given to unanswered messages and distance on here.

Things have felt heavy and hard for our entire family but we are together and we are making the most of this time.

Thank you all for your well wishes for Alicia and kind messages and even my sweet friends offering DoorDash and gifts for her. She’s such a blessing 🤍🥹

Okay… now that I addressed it all. We are moving on and forward with regular scheduled programming but please realize this week, this vacation is for our family and I will get back to you all soon 😍

I think I remember two plane rides as a kid and one consisted of our big move from Germany to Arizona where my dad was being stationed.

Otherwise we drove everywhere. Including from Arizona to Mississippi for Family Reunions ( knows I am not a good road tripper) lol 😂

Anyway I knew one thing was for certain when I had my own kids that they were going to rock planes and feel well traveled.

It’s been a BIG GOAL of mine to have family vacations since that wasn’t the norm for me growing up.

So here we go on family trip number FOUR in one year 🥹✈️

In some ways I’m worried my kids will now expect this but I’m also so proud and blessed that they can recall it 🤍

To the little Mariah begging for a family vacay like your friends - I got you boo 😉

I do everything I can for my girls.

I give them the best of time.
I aim to show them hard work and consistency.
I strive to focus on health and be an example.
I want to express love and emotion.

All things that I didn’t necessarily get growing up. My focus since I became a mother was to break generational curses and be the best mom I can be for both of them!

But most importantly I want them to see me strive, leap, do things I’m afraid of, fail but more importantly get back up.

Last Sunday I did something scary and against my logical brain… but I acted out of my passionate momma heart.

I asked myself “what if this actually works?”

I remember on that day, I pondered for 18 hours on the decision and then just went for it. And that decision changed everything.

I leaped into Master Resell Rights and a week later earned income that I only dreamed of. IN ONE WEEKS TIME!

So you see me sharing and by this point likely other people; trust it. Trust the value. Trust that Forbes is right when they share that DIGITAL MARKETING is the future billionaires

This isn’t just about the income, it’s about the promise I’m keeping to my girls.

But the promise I am keeping to my inner little girl…. You can do this too!

Break outside of those walls and leap into something that could truly change the game and be so LIFE GIVING! 🥹
