‼️This last week - finals week (of finals month) - I passed my final written exam with a 100% and passed my hands on practical with a 98%; both of which are mock tests of what I’ll be doing at state board for my license‼️
➡️I’m within my last 94/1600 hours required of schooling in order for me to even qualify to schedule my state board exams, so I’m patiently anticipating ✨THE EMAIL✨to get things crack-a-lackin’.
👀I’m finishing up my remaining hours at school and working on the floor, taking clients Tuesday - Friday through the month of April, with graduation being on the 20th (ayyyee😎).
⚠️This is a low key big deal for me, considering I was a terrible student throughout school academically. The only classes I ever got A’s in was band and art; I got a few B’s & C’s, but mostly F’s & D’s. I always thought it’d be cool to make honor roll at least ONCE so I could be one of those kids who got to have a special breakfast with their parents in the morning, but the best GPA I ever got was like a 2.9 🫠 I never graduated with my class, and had to take high school completion courses MULTIPLE times through community college just to get my WA state diploma.😮💨
👉So the fact that I’m actually in this position right now, and have done as well as I have this past month — and didn’t become a 🎶Beauty School Dropout🎶 — is actually a shock and unfamiliar territory.
💚With that being said, it’d be cool to get some familiar faces to book a service with me to do their hair. There’s a lot of things I haven’t really gotten much of a chance to do yet, and others I’d really love to practice more of. I understand it’s hard to make schedules align, and being in Everett doesn’t make it any easier; but if there is a day you can make your way out to see me, it’d mean SO so much!💜
