Sometimes growth looks like leaving what no longer aligns and stepping fully into what was meant for you.

I recently transitioned into a new space and a new chapter of . What many may not know is how much intention, vision, and hard work went into building the environment I created before. Every detail of that suite was personally curated to reflect my brand, my values, and over two decades behind the chair so transitioning that into my new space was also done with intentionality.

That space was never just wallpaper or decor. It was branding. It was identity. It was the visual standard I created for the women who trusted me with their crown.

So yes, it has been disappointing to see elements of what I built replicated after my departure in the same location, creating confusion for former clients and the public. I have received messages, check-ins, and assumptions that I am still there.

Let this be a lesson for newer stylists: protect your brand from the beginning.

Your brand is not just your logo or your name. It is your content, your look, your feel, your client experience, and the way people recognize you before they ever meet you.

If you are renting a suite, think beyond today. Ask questions. Create boundaries. Make sure what you build cannot simply be copied by the next tenant when you move on.

I believe there is room for everyone. I would rather see another woman build her own lane than try to stand in someone else’s. Real success comes from character, integrity, and originality.

Still, I hold no bitterness. Because what is for me cannot be copied or taken.

I am in a new space, a better chapter, and moving forward with the same authentic spirit and even more clarity.

I think it’s important to show that everything doesn’t have to be done in one appointment. Sometimes, the best approach when considering budget, time, and the integrity of the hair, is creating a series of sessions that allow us to get there the right way.

As stylists, it’s our responsibility to meet the client where they are while still guiding them with intention and expertise. Healthy hair is always the priority, and that means being patient, being strategic, and building the result over time.

This is what I’ve always stood on, quality over shortcuts, every single time.

Last days in the suite were nothing short of amazing!

So many of my loyal, day-one clients came through—to support, to celebrate, and to say what I prefer most… “see you later” as we transition full-time to the new location just a skip and a hop away 🌴

And if I’m being honest, I expected nothing less. Because what I’ve built over the years isn’t based on convenience—it’s built on consistency, trust, and the experience I create every single time you sit in my chair.

Distance has never been a factor. Location has never been a limitation. And time has only refined what I do.

This next chapter isn’t an ending—it’s an elevation. And I’m grateful to move into it with so many of you right there with me.
