Okay, I’m just over here fangirling, don’t mind me! I HAVE to brag about this one ☝🏼

The VP of e.l.f. gave the biggest compliment on these nails to my dear, sweet friend and client, Megan! Honestly, this couldn’t have come at a better time in my career.

Sometimes, after being in a career for so long, you start to feel burnt out. You think about throwing in the towel, or you wonder if you’ve already hit your peak and are coming down from it. But this simple compliment from someone who is such a major contributor to the beauty industry gave me the confidence, the boost, and the drive I’ve been missing.

Lately, I’ve had clients leave my chair for financial reasons. I’ve had moments where I’ve been made to feel incompetent. I’ve had people not take me or my business seriously because they think I “just paint nails all day.” I’ve even had clients ask me to remove their art and start over.

And over time, those things can wear on you even if you’re one of the best. So to my dear sweet friend thank you so much for sharing with me. It means more than you know! It was a great reminder of who I am why I do what I do and also my art is impactful! 🌸🙌🏼💅🏼🫶🏼 💅
