Behind Perceptive Gaze The daughter of an artist, I grew up surrounded by art. On weekends, my father took my sisters and me to the Boston galleries.
We looked at what contemporary artists were creating, and I was immersed in discussions about art, the creative process, and finding beauty in unusual places. Studying art history in college gave me a chance to critically consider the relationship between artist and viewer.
