Missouri has something a lot of places spend billions trying to recreate.

It already exists.

More than 6,000 caves—more than any other state. Crystal-clear Ozark springs flowing millions of gallons daily. Ancient limestone bluffs. Hardwood forests stretching across rolling hills. Prairie grasslands that once covered a third of the state. Wild rivers perfect for floating. Wetlands along the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers. Wildlife habitats that support black bears, elk, bald eagles, and countless songbirds.

That's what makes Missouri feel like Missouri.

Which is why more residents are asking an increasingly simple question:

If we already have thousands of acres of vacant lots, abandoned buildings, aging strip malls, empty storefronts, underused commercial corridors, and previously developed land...

why are so many forests, springs, caves, prairies, farms, and natural areas facing growing development pressure?

For many Missourians, this isn't about stopping growth.

It's about being thoughtful about where that growth happens.

Because once a spring is polluted, a forest is cleared, a cave ecosystem is damaged, or open land disappears beneath sprawl...

it rarely goes back to what it was before.

Missouri's springs, caves, rivers, forests, prairies, and wild places helped create the state people fell in love with in the first place.

Many residents simply hope future generations will still have the chance to experience them too.

For many of you who don't know me. I have only been a stylist for 10 years. But I've been in the beauty industry for 30. The first 20 were spent being a premier nail technician, meaning my focus was on acrylic nail enhancements that could be mistaken for natural nails at any given time.

This is a little hard since the advent of gel polish as it can be rather thick and bulky, sometimes shrinking and problematic.

But as an acrylic nail specialist for 30 years, I can tell you when done correctly. Acrylic is one of the best and strongest nail enhancements available. The client hand that you see in this picture has worn acrylics for 30 years, and she has been my client for 30 years.

Never has she had to have her acrylics removed and replaced as we take care of them consistently every 2 to 3 weeks.

Hair is all about the way it framed the face.
Colors and styles change, but wanting to enhance our faces to make them look as pretty as they can is the main goal always!
