Someone shaves in between waxes because they “can’t deal with it.” Or they leave it too long because life got busy.

Then you wax again and it feels more uncomfortable. Results aren’t as clean and you start thinking “this isn’t working.”

It’s not the wax but the length.

The hair length actually matters. It changes everything! Better results. Less discomfort. Happier clients 😊.

Simple rule:
⭐️ 3-4 weeks of growth (about the length of a grain of rice)

Too short?
The wax can’t grip, patchy results & quicker regrowth.
Too long?
More pulling than needed, more sensitivity.

I will be doing my apprenticeship alongside Crystal at Tickled Pink Aesthetics 💗. I couldn’t be more excited to start this journey and meet all of our beautiful clients ✨.

If you’ve been here for a while, this introduction is long overdue.

Anyone who knows me knows I live a very private life, so I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve formally introduced myself here.

I’m Crystal, the proud owner of Tickled Pink Aesthetics and a licensed Master Cosmetologist since 2010. Helping women feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful through expert waxing and personalized self-care services is truly my passion.

Outside the salon, I’m a wife and mama. My husband, Gustavo, and I have been together for over 20 years, and we have two amazing boys, ages 18 and 5, who keep life fun and busy. The values that guide my family—kindness, honesty, consistency, and genuine care—are the same values at the heart of my business.

I created Tickled Pink Aesthetics to be more than a waxing salon. My goal has always been to provide a welcoming, judgment-free space where every client feels comfortable, cared for, and confident. What started as a passion for beauty has grown into a community built on trust, relationships, and exceptional client care.
