We celebrate Juneteenth at Linkage Wellness Institute because it represents freedom, healing, and the restoration of dignity …. All the values at the heart of our mission.

Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved Black Americans in Texas finally learned they were free. For us, it symbolizes:

• Liberation and empowerment - The right for every person to reclaim their voice, health, and future.

• Healing from generational trauma - Acknowledging our history while creating space for restoration and resilience.

• Community unity - Celebrating culture, strength, and collective wellness.

• Education and awareness - Honoring the truth and using knowledge as a tool for freedom.
