Today is a really hard one.

We said goodbye to our sweet Toothless. My little shadow. My Zoom partner. My “unmute yourself” background chaos manager. ❤️🐾

He was with me through so many workdays, meetings, and life moments—usually curled up, snoring, or demanding attention right when I thought I was being professional.

Toothless reminded me, in his own way, not to take life too seriously and to actually step away from the screen and enjoy it. Outside of work matters just as much as what happens inside it.

If you’ve ever thought about fostering or adopting, please do it. These little souls change your life in ways you can’t explain until you’ve lived it.

Lately, I've found myself reflecting on the people who make growth possible. Every time I do, I come back to one person: my husband.

He's a Ta**us to my Capricorn, a fixer, and without question, my biggest supporter.

Over the years, he's stood behind every career move, every late night, every new opportunity, and every dream I've chased. Because of that support, I've been able to turn around and support him as he launched his own full-time 3D printing business. Watching him build something he's passionate about has reminded me that leadership isn't just about what you accomplish yourself—it's about creating the space for others to accomplish their dreams, too.

The best leaders don't just elevate themselves. They invest in people. They encourage growth. They celebrate wins that aren't their own.
