From last nights episode of “By The Whelping Box”, sweet babies are walking, barking, howling, coming to people, wagging tails and kissing with all the best puppy breath.

Dog mom life: You grow them, you feed them, you provide room and board, and you STILL can’t get a minute to yourself. 😂
(In my defense, she has a getaway space outside the whelping box all to herself, she just got ambushed though before she could get there)
Why can I relate so much to this photo?! 😆😆

Happy Saturday. It’s going to be a busy day getting my second oldest ready to head off to work with a handler, but first things first; morning snuggles 💕

Omaha (Platte Valley Kennel Club) did NOT disappoint!
It was just me and a couple of our juniors this weekend, along with our good friends - taking on the Bassets and Dalaney’s Springer Spaniel, FancE, and we sure kept busy!
SATURDAY HIGHLIGHTS
•Promise - At just 7 months old and only her second weekend out, she took Winners Bitch for her FIRST major! This little girl is off to a fantastic start!
•Tulsi (my mom’s girl) - Reserve Winners Bitch.
•Nacho (our co-own) - FINISHED HIS CHAMPIONSHIP! At just 10 months old, with ALL majors! We are beyond excited to see what this boy accomplishes as he continues to grow. The future is looking bright! Handled by/ Co-owned with Amber Alvidrez
•Agnes - Came along to play for more points toward her Bronze Grand Championship and brought home Best of Breed! Earning a 5 pt win.
•FancE (Springer Spaniel) - Winners for another point, followed by 3rd place in Juniors with Dalaney.
SUNDAY HIGHLIGHTS
•Promise - Did it AGAIN! Winners Bitch for her SECOND major of the weekend! At only 7 months old, this girl is really putting it together!
•Aria (Cecily’s co-own) - Reserve Winners Bitch.
•Agnes - Best of Breed again as she continues working toward that Bronze!
•Nacho - Best of Opposite S*x AND Best of Breed Owner-Handled! What a way to celebrate a championship weekend!
•FancE - Winners for another point, and she and Dalaney made a lovely team in Juniors, taking 1st place in a good class of Open Juniors! 💕
All in all, it was a REALLY good weekend, surrounded by our good friends. We have really met some great people thanks to our dogs!!
I’m exhausted, but so happy with the results. It was also nice to spend so much time in the ring myself! Normally, I let my girls do the majority of the handling because they are more than capable, and watching them grow and succeed is one of my favorite parts of this whole journey.
This weekend was a good reminder that sometimes it’s fun to get out there and do a little more of the handling myself, too!
From a 7-month-old girl earning her first two majors, to a 10-month-old boy finishing his championship with all majors, to our seasoned girl continuing her Grand Championship journey, and a beautiful 11-month-old Springer over halfway to her championship with a junior moving up the rankings in the breed, we have SO much to be proud of!
Stay tuned - win photos coming !!!

It’s been a bit since I’ve posted, so I figured it was time for a little update on life since the Lincoln dog show. ❤️
To say it’s been a whirlwind would be an understatement! Between losing puppies, a momma absorbing her litter, sleepless nights caring for babies, and unexpected emergency surgery that I’m still recovering from, it’s been a season of more downs than ups. Add in work, kids, school, dog shows, and family changes, and it’s been a LOT.
Yes. We have a new litter of golden babies(intro post coming soon) who are almost two weeks old now, and we’re doing everything we can to help them thrive. We also made it through the recent Omaha show with lots of brags (post coming soon), and our puppy waitlist is officially FULL! 🐾 With Spring lists packed as well. We’re incredibly grateful to the families who trust our program and patiently wait for one of our babies.
On top of everything, our 11-year-old junior handler qualified for the National Championship in Orlando! We couldn’t be prouder and are busy getting everything in order for this incredible opportunity.
If I’ve been quiet or slow to respond, please know it’s because my time and energy are stretched incredibly thin. Between recovery, round-the-clock puppy care, family, and everything else, we simply don’t have time for any extra nonsense. Our priority is our family, our dogs, our puppies, and the families already committed to our program. We always appreciate serious inquiries.
We’re taking things one day at a time, hoping for some healing and breathing room, and holding on to the good things: growing puppies, wrapping up our 2026 show season, finishing another semester strong, happy kids, and heading to Orlando with our talented junior. ❤️
Sometimes success is simply making it through the hard seasons and continuing to show up. Thank you for being here with us through the highs and lows.

Two majors. Two different breeds. One incredibly talented young handler.
And somehow, I have a feeling this is still only the beginning.
Keep chasing those dreams, kiddo. Mom will always be your biggest cheerleader. ❤️

P*e Wee: Ellie played in the ring with a sweet Russian Toy, Molly (Thanks to Charlei for always being so generous with her cute little crew).
My nephew Uriah earned is last third place needed to move to Open Junior on Sunday.
Springers:
KaycE- (Handled by Aidenny) Winners/BOS, earning a couple more points towards that championship.
FancE - (Handled by Dalaney) 4th and 2nd in Junior handling. Reserve winners on Saturday and Winners/ Best of Winners for her first MAJOR!!! To say I am proud of my Junior is an absolute understatement. Watching her and FancE build their team and grow together has been a joy!!!
I’m exhausted, but so incredibly proud of my girls for being so willing to run in whatever direction needed. Every time I turned around they were handling a different breed as well juggling our crew beautifully.
I also have amazing friends that were willing to jump in any direction needed, from lifting dogs onto grooming tables due to my dumb weight restrictions or just be available for my kids. I truly love our dog sport family 🥰💕 We are so blessed with such good people.
