Phil The Barber Guy

Meet Phil:

He's a barber at and thanks Bethesda for saving his life. Before he became a patient, he simply went without healthcare, even with diabetes and other chronic conditions.

Today, he has access to the primary care, lab work, and medications he needs—including prescriptions that could cost more than $3,000 per month without assistance. He even sees a volunteer endocrinologist.

Phil shares his gratitude for Bethesda saying, "I probably wouldn't be here without them."

The best part is that his A1C has greatly improved, his diabetes is stable and he is able to work and live an abundant life. We are so grateful to be part of Phil's health journey! He is the sweetest man and a joy to be around.
