Why you ask am I feeling all of this?

Because I just had finished a wonderful massage with a wonderful friend yesterday. As I sat in my car 🚘 (letting it cool off so NO I am not taking photos while driving — that is NOT a good idea) and as I breathed deeply I was so grateful for this tiny woman who can do wonders with my shoulder and definitely other parts of my body.

I used to think of these appointments as “nice to do” and scheduled them erratically.

But after my “shoulder event” happened last year and I started going back to her, I realized this is something healthy that I can do. On a regular basis.

So this was a health care day for me and my body.

What do you do regularly for health care for yourself?

I feel like we as humans give so much to others, we do need to replenish our “bucket” called life so we can continue to give our best to others.

My answer was A. I took my own lunch that my mom made me except for 1 time a month I got a special treat of buying lunch on a Friday which was always Fish 🐟 Sticks!

So in the photo here is what I used to take my lunch. AND

I USED the SAME BAG 💼 FOR A WEEK!

So now look 👀 what our granddaughter is taking her lunch to school in.

Isn’t it gorgeous???

Both are recycled since they are used over and over again!

Leon and I watched the Home 🏠 Run 🏃‍♀️ Derby 🐎 last night and all I can say is

W. O. W. !!!!!!!

It seemed like the Philly Fans were being their typical selves (no judgement just a comment) as they booed everyone who walked on the field who was NOT a Phillie player.

I love me some Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper (who were Washington Nationals players) but this young man from St Louis, Jordan Walker was NOT to be outdone.

In the finale Schwarber hit the Magenta ball earning him an extra hit (resulting in a homerun) which everyone (yours truly included) thought clinched it.

Then to Tons of “Boooos,”Jordan walked to the plate with some swagger, smiling at the boos, as if they fueled him. And wow did they!

He hit the magenta ball ⚽️ two times winning 🏅 the trophy!

And what I loved was Schwarber was one of the first to congratulate Jordan on his “Walk Off Win” in Schwarber’s own park!

Last night we evidenced a young man who

Set a goal

Knew his mission

Shut out the “noise”

Kept his concentration

WON

And thanked his family

It was a good night.

Oh how I love ❤️ baseball
