LONG life begins with positive thinking LIVE happy
LOVE taking care of yourself. Mind. Body. Spirit

A few quiet moments from my yoga practice.

Not to teach.
Not to perform.
Just to be.

Yoga lives in the small pauses
between breath and movement,
sound and silence.

In this moment beneath the ancient giant, I feel grounded and infinite all at once. This pose, Parivrtta Janu Sirsasana (Revolved Head-to-Knee Pose), reminds me of the dance between earth and sky, strength and surrender, human and divine.

Spiritually, this asana awakens the sacral and heart chakras, expanding creativity, love, and emotional release. As we fold and twist, we wring out old energy, open space for clarity, and invite prana—life force—to flow freely again.

Physically, Parivrtta Janu Sirsasana stretches the hamstrings, spine, and side body, strengthens the core, and improves digestion and circulation. Beyond the physical, it is a reminder to soften, to open, and to listen to the wisdom within.

Nature amplifies this connection—the roots beneath me whispering of grounding, the branches above reminding me to keep reaching higher.

🦩 Fallen Flamingo Pose 🦩

I attempted the Fallen Flamingo — a beautiful yet challenging posture that captures the delicate balance between stability and release. Like a flamingo balancing on one leg, this pose asks us to stand tall and rooted while opening our hearts to release what no longer serves us.

My journey to conquer this pose is ongoing, reminding me that some of the most powerful growth comes through persistence and patience. It’s not easy, but each attempt brings me closer to the grace and strength this pose embodies.

For me, this asana reflects the inward journey, letting go of old energy and embracing a deeper sense of self-discovery. šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø

This pose also represents where I am in my personal journey — a space of balancing between stability and release. It’s not just about finding balance; it’s about the choice: falling and starting over, or leaning forward to stay in the status quo.

Through yoga, we learn that true growth comes when we honor all parts of our journey, even the ones that bring us to our knees. The Fallen Angel invites us to lean into our inner strength and reach beyond—into the limitless possibility of who we’re becoming. Fallen Angel is a pose of surrender, resilience, and rising from the depths. For me, this asana is more than just a posture—it’s an intimate, unspoken connection. When I flow into it, I feel both grounded and lifted, as though I’m balancing between worlds. It’s a journey into myself, where words fall short and only the feeling remains. This pose is a reminder that even in moments of surrender, we can rise again, embracing our shadows and light, grounding our spirit, and expanding our soul.

Like fallen angels, we touch the earth to connect with our higher selves. This pose reminds me that even in surrender, there is profound strength. Through embracing this connection, I find resilience, beauty, and the courage….

Devaduuta Panna Asana - a divine messenger in descent, grounded yet forever reaching.
