I'm noticing more and more posts where small businesses are struggling and going out of business. Sales are down for all of us. My last two events that I vended at did not generate a profit for me. I'm making 1/3 of what I made last year, and nothing even close to what I made the year before.
So I'm asking you if you can shop smaller and more locally. We're not even asking for more of your money. We're just asking for you to think about where you're spending it.
One of the best places is Harvest Moon Botanica Harvest Moon Botanica - They are a small local business that supports other small local businesses by selling their products.
It would be a shame to lose all of our small businesses because we're not thinking about shopping small, we're thinking about convenience. I think we can all do better to support our small businesses - myself included!

Violet Facial Friend
Some videos and photos of bottling Violet Facial Friend, a brand new product for problem skin like my own.
I've had acne since I hit puberty. My skin was a gorgeously flawless porcelain until the age of 12. I found out that I had PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) aka now called PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome) when I was 24,which is a serious disease that causes full-body metabolic and hormonal imbalances on the whole body, not just the ovaries. It causes serious problems with insulin resistance, multiple hormone systems, and weight changes as well as common lifelong skin issues, like acne and both hair growth and thinning issues. My whole body and my skin has been fighting me for 32 years now.
It's time to end that fight. I brought out the whole pack 💪 of my best oils and herbs for this facial oil!
* Hempseed Oil - This beauty contains Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids and is a wonder for moisturizing, soothing inflammation, and balancing oil production without clogging your pores.
* Neem Oil - Neem oil comes from the seeds of the neem tree and has very high fatty acid and antioxidant components. It smells incredibly earthy and is very rich and wonderful at soothing and combating acne and rosacea. It's essential in any anti-aging routine.
* Apricot Kernel Oil - This oil is essential for deep moisturizing without greasiness, and rich antioxidant concentrations of Vitamin A and E which protect the skin from environmental stressors.
* Violets - Homegrown from my yard's elderberry patch, violets soothe inflammation, deeply moisturize, clear blemishes through salicylic acid, and improve circulation. How could I not include them?!
* Lemon Balm - Right by my violet patch, lemon balm was added because of its acne and oil control capabilities, remarkable ability to calm inflammation, and help with oxidative stress and free radicals.
* Calendula and Helichrysum - Both are soothing and moisturizing with antioxidant protection and healing qualities.
* Essential oil blend - I picked six of the best soothing, healing, and rejuvenating essential oils for the skin that I could!
I love this blend!!

Bottling Itch Out Spray for the summertime issues people don't discuss as much...
Folks, we have ticks, chiggers, mosquitoes, and poison ivy. You're definitely going to have an issue with *at least* one of them this summer. Why not be prepared, and make it all-natural?

New ancient-based perfume! This is an Egyptian perfume called Mendesian, based on the Ancient Egyptian recipe of the same name. The top notes are cinnamon, cardamom, myrrh, and Aleppo pine, contained in jojoba oil roll-on bottles. This lovely mixture would have been worn on the body and on headdress cones to scent the hair. It turned out quite nicely and will be available at my upcoming events soon!
My artwork is based on the tomb paintings of Userhet, who was Overseer of the Fields of Amun during the reign of Thutmose IV. His tomb is located in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt.
The artwork is titled "Women of Userhet" by Jerry Weintz, 1977.

If your business has AI flyers or logos, as another small business, I'm going to assume you don’t actually run a good business. You’re either too broke to pay for a design, or are just incompetent at making even something as simple as a flyer.
It also shows you’re not willing to support other small businesses.
