There have been reported cases of eye damage with inappropriate use of laser and intense pulse light goggles.
One of the cases included treating an eyelid freckle with IPL without proper goggles.
Another reported case the patient had eye damage from looking at the lens during a test spot without goggles.
Blinking during treatments is also very dangerous. Always double check you’re using the correct goggles for you and your patient!!

IPL/BBL or intense pulsed light can be one of the most difficult devices to learn but is the most rewarding once you get the hang of it.
It can take decades of sundamage off just within one week.
